Boston Human Rights And Equity Event

On Feb. 7, 2008, the Boston Newspaper Guild Local 31245 hosted its first Human Rights and Equity Outreach Event in Quincy, MA. Local president Carl Younger reported that some 75 people attended the event, which sought to foster a network in the Boston local to address equity issues. Attendees at the event were treated to lively entertainment by several dance troupes, as well as a sumptuous buffet with an international flavor, reflecting the many ethnic communities in the Boston area.
