Carl Younger Receives Guild Service Award

A thoroughly surprised Carl Younger took the stage at the TNG Sector conference in Toronto, Canada to receive the Guild Service Award in July 2007. Younger, of the Boston Newspaper Guild, received the award in recognition of his innovative video library project aimed at raising awareness of the various cultures that represent equity seeking groups. Younger is continuing his outreach program through monthly discussion groups at the offices of the Boston local, where guild members can gather to exchange ideas and discuss issues related to the workplace. The TNG-CWA Human Rights and Equity Committee applauds Younger, who is also a member of that committee, on receiving this very well deserved honor. Way to go Carl!
